07.04.16 Blogging by the Numbers

In my other life - as a policy wonk - I work with numbers all the time.  Excel spreadsheets are my bread and butter, and I confess, I love looking for patterns in data to see the stories they tell.

My Blogger statistics page holds the same appeal...

How many views have I had today?

Which old blog posts do people go back and read months later?

Where do my readers live?

How do they get here - from Twitter, or Facebook, or Instagram?

Here's what I can tell you after writing a post a week for the last 18 months...

This is my 100th post.

I've written more than 34,000 words and posted more than 500 photos

You have viewed blog over 7,600 times.





Those views have come from nearly a dozen countries all over the world.

 Y'all are great!

Writing these posts is a wonderful and fulfilling experience for me - because I know you are out there.  But, I'm ready for a short break, so I'm going to take one for the month of July.
